![]() It’s not only farm animals that suffer at the hands of the agricultural industry. Animal Agriculture Kills Wild Animals, Too If we are to honor this fact, avoiding the use of animal products entirely is the logical choice. While free-range and other supposedly “humane” types of farming are advertised as an alternative to this, in fact they only prove what animal rights activists have known all along - namely that cows, chickens, pigs and other “livestock” are all highly intelligent, social creatures deserving of a long and happy life. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re already aware of the horrible conditions - including cramped, unsanitary living quarters, lack of sunlight and persistent disease - encountered in factory farms. ![]() Factory Farmed or Free-Range - Animals Suffer When You Eat Meat The farm animal industry would certainly like us to ignore this fact, but when we look at the realities farm animals face, it’s clear that adopting a vegan diet is the only truly humane choice. Animals - yes, even fish - are complex creatures that are fully capable of experiencing pain and joy. See more common justifications for eating animals. While there are clear environmental and health benefits to veganism, the most compelling argument for removing animal products from your diet is ultimately an ethical one. And learn more about vegan nutrition here. Explore the subject further here. See also author Sherry Colb’s article on deconstructing the natural argument. Regardless of what other animals do, if you are not vegan, you are paying someone to needlessly harm animals in a way that would traumatize you to even witness. ![]() Yet when it is convenient for our argument, we claim that eating animals is normal and natural because a very small percentage of animals do so. Do we kill our newborn children based on the fact that certain animals have done so under certain circumstances? Of course not. Do we fornicate or copulate in public like other animals do? No. It can’t be wrong to harm animals for pleasure in one instance, but not the other.įurthermore, it makes no sense to selectively model our behavior around other animals. Yet harming animals for pleasure goes against core values we hold in common - which is why, for example, we oppose practices like dog fighting on principle. Many humans, on the other hand, do have a choice, and when people with access to plant-based foods choose to continue eating animals anyway - simply because they like the taste - they are harming animals not from necessity, but for pleasure. When animals kill other animals for food, they do as they must, in order to survive they have no choice in the matter. ![]() Humans have no biological need to consume meat or any animal products. But it’s important to realize that, with a few exceptions, when humans kill other animals for food, we’re not doing what animals do in nature. Many people insist that eating animals is “natural” - and therefore morally neutral - because other animals eat animals. This post is part of an ongoing series called Most Common Justifications for Eating Animals where we seek to provide answers and resources to better address these justifications.

It will come out easily and can be put back in, Do not force it to pull or pushing. Hold the Board carefully, hold the top of your Left Stick (From the round plate looking part), slowly pull the Left stick from the housing. To scrape the skirt you will need to mark the point that bumps the cubic, even a simple notch would mark that, so mark the point that is bumping. To fix that you will need a soft rasper or metal nailfile.ĭO NOT TRY TO CUT IT, it may break apart the skirt of your stick. If you notice it is sticking or having a bump near the LB cube that is the cause of your problem. That is your LEFT BUTTON, yes it is too close to left stick.Ĭarefully hold the board and push the left stick forward, then circle it clockwise. If you look at the left stick closely you will see there is a cubic mini button near it. When you turn it around, your keys might drop so just try to lift the board upwards, and keep the body on your ground. ![]() If you are willing to take it apart, it is an easy fix.ġ- Take out 7 screws from the back of your controller (1 is under the label sticker peel carefully)ģ- Take out 2 screws on the board (lower part, both left and right sides on my board)Ĥ- Slowly take out motor pins (White pins with cables can be detached, pull slowly and carefully) The Left Stick has an manufacturer error by factory default. I would like to address that error to be able to have a solution, and politely ask the moderation to consider this post as a helping hand for those who would like to use their controllers. ![]() Apparently the manufacturer is not responding to the problem. This is not official, and it is an user side fix. ![]() For those who may interested in fixing Left Controller's directional glitch: |
